Private training is a great way to get started. Once the foundation techniques are achieved, a lifter can join on-going classes.
The group environment is fun, motivating and economical with the added security of having training partners and spotters. Body weight exercises, joint rotations and mobility drills are included in every class, all requiring no special equipment. These can be used in at-home practice.
Advanced lifters find classes great for keeping their form clean, refining classic lifts and improving specific skills.
Beginners will feel physically stronger the day after lifting with deep muscle fatigue setting in two to three days after the first lesson. Advanced students lift more weight and practice new or more technical exercises at the beginning of a workout, saving longer sets and more familiar routines for the end. Seasoned kettlebell lifters train in cycles of greater and lesser intensity throughout the year.
Kettlebell lifting requires patience and willingness to learn new patterns and habits. Students who practice these correct lifting habits in daily life will get the most out of each kettlebell training session.

Here I am competing in the Jerk exercise with 16kg. This is a classic Kettlebell Sport lift, typically paired with a 10 minute Snatch: Biathlon. For this competition I was able to compete in "Jerk Only."
